Song Kran - Thai New Year

 

This is the time of year known as the water throwing festival.  

Young people pour water over the hands of their elders and as for a blessing.

When that is over, every one heads for their water pistols, buckets, whatever - and begin to throw water every where - hard to escape getting wet!
